IN THE BEGINNING:

I WOULD LIKE TO MAKE AN ATTEMPT AT SPIRITUALIZING THE BIBLE FROM BEGINNING BECAUSE THE SCRIPTURES ARE MEANT TO BE UNDERSTOOD SPIRITUALY. GOD IS A SPIRIT AFTER ALL AND ALL SCRIPTURE IS HIS INSPIRATION...

GENISES 1:

VERSE 1: IN THE BEGINNING GOD CREATED THE HEAVEN AND THE EARTH: could this be refering to the natural earth we live on and the natural heaven we have above? Well science has proven without a doubt that the earth is millions of years old. The bible was only written a little more than 6000 years ago... so was it the natural earth God was speaking into creation?

VERSE 2: THE EARTH WAS WITHOUT FORM AND VOID; AND DARKNESS WAS APON THE FACE OF THE DEEP: now i don't know about you but, no matter what- if you have something, it has form. the earth is round, so it does have form. the earth is also made up of water, sand, stone and lava so it can not be void... so what earth is it that was without form and void?

we are only in the first two verses of the bible and allready we have encountered a problem...

1 JOHN 4 V. 4

"YE ARE OF GOD LITTLE CHILDREN AND HAVE OVERCOME THEM, FOR GREATER IS HE THAT IS IN YOU, THAN HE THAT IS IN THE WORLD"

THIS TEXT HAPPENS TO BE MY FAVORITE TEXT...

THERE ARE A FEW THINGS IT SAYS TO US:

1) IF WE HAVE OVERCOME THEM- WE ARE OF GOD...

THIS IS A POWERFULL STATEMENT BECAUSE IT MEANS WE ARE BORN OF GOD. DIRECT DESCENDANTS! THAT MEANS WE ARE HIS PRECIOUS CHILDREN IN WHOM HE IS WELL DELIGHTED. WHY? BECAUSE WE HAVE OVERCOME! OVERCOME EXACTLY WHAT? THE WILL AND DESIRE OF THE FLESH! WHY? SO THAT GOD OUR BELOVED FATHER CAN LIVE IN AND THROUGH US!

2) THIS TEXT CONFIRMS ONCE AGAIN FOR US EXACTLY WHERE GOD IS...

IN THOSE WHO HAVE OVERCOME THE FLESH AND ARE RENEWED IN THE SPIRIT OF THEIR MINDS.

IF YOU WERE ALLWAYS PRAYING TO A GOD UP THERE ABOVE MOON AND STARS- THINK AGAIN PEOPLE! TODAY YOU HAVE LEARNT THAT GOD IS NOT FAR AWAY AS YOU THOUGHT. HE IS SO CLOSE THAT HE IS ACTUALLY IN YOU ALL AND IT IS A WILLING DESIRE FROM EACH OF US THAT HE LIVE THROUGH US TO TOUCH THOSE WHO ARE LOST.

and then there is but only one road to God. That being the way of obedience to His wonderfull word. The new commandments Christ brought us- to love God above all else- meaning that He must be first and formost in our lives! -and to love our neighbour as ourselves- meaning we must do unto our neighbour as we would like others to do unto us...

so dont be in the toilet about your faith! get up off your lazy "behinds" and seek God out!

WHAT DO YOU THINK THIS WORLD WOULD BE LIKE WITHOUT GOD IN IT?

A LITTLE LIKE THIS?

I THINK SO!

COME ON PEOPLE! GET UP OFF YOUR BE- HINDS AND SEARCH GOD OUT. HE IS TO BE FOUND TO THOSE WHO KNOCK. HE SAYS IN JOHN 17 V. 3 THAT TO HAVE LIFE ETERNAL YOU NEED TO KNOW HIM AND HIS SON. DO YOU?

God is a spirit and as such, abides within man.
luke 17:21 clearly tells us where His kingdom is and so it would be safe
to presume that He would also live in His kingdom...
in deed- Jesus himself punctuates this statement in John 17
in His prair unto His Father. in it, He makes several references to He and God abiding within man. "From the horse' mouth you might say"

YESTERDAYS HERO

this morning i awoke to a beautifull day. the sun is shining, my family and i are well, safe and healthy. i have my family and my spiritual family. i have my God and i have peace.
what more could a person want?
much rather to be joyous than to be grubby and gloom.
